Conference on “Gender-Based Violence and the Use of Technologies”
ULPGC organised an in-person conference on “Gender-Based Violence and the Use of Technologies”. The conference took place on November 9th, at the University campus. The objective of the conference was to raise awareness among the university community for a better understanding of the new forms of gender violence through technologies and social networks so that they can detect these cases and prevent them. This conference was presented by a local police officer from the Canary Islands who specializes in gender violence.
