Conference “Excellence (and) for women in the University of Bucharest”
University of Bucharest, ATHENA partners, is promoting the conference “Excellence (and) for women in the University of Bucharest: Towards an inclusive history of UB personalities” in the marking of the 160th anniversary of the university.
The conference is dedicated to recovering and revaluing the contribution of women to academic life in general and to the academic life of the University of Bucharest in particular.
The event is one activity of the Gender Equality Plan of the University of Bucharest and is designed by a group of specialists from the Faculty of History together with an interdisciplinary team from several faculties — Letters, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Biology, Sociology and Social Assistance — and from the Bucharest University Museum .
The event is addressed to Romanian audience.
Submission to present scientific papers is also available.
